Birthday Weekend Extravaganza

It was both Chaco's and our friend Kent's birthdays this past Friday. Kent came from Langenburg and hung out with us for the weekend. It was a packed couple of days. We started off with all-you-can-eat sushi and then one of Yuriko's student and his family invited us over to their place on the river. It has been one of my goals to wakeboard on the river before I left Saskatoon and they helped me fulfill that dream:

We ate some good East Indian food for dinner, Homestead ice cream for dessert, and then checked out a wakeboard competition and the Saskatoon Jazz festival. We also checked out Public Enemies, which wasn't as good as I was hoping. The next day we celebrated Kent's birthday by making him move a Piano with me (whoo hoo!):

And of course we celebrated with some cake...

do you know how much longer you'll be in saskatoon?
kyle and i will both be there in october - we're not sure when yet, or even if we'll be there at the same time (we're both going with work) but it would be nice to see you if you're around!
